1. Assistant Commandant – General Duty (GD) [Male Only]

• Category-wise Distribution:
  SC – 25, ST – 24, OBC – 35, EWS – 10, UR – 46
• Educational Qualification:
  • Graduate Degree from a recognized university
  • Must have studied Mathematics and Physics up to Class XII (10+2 level).
  • Candidates who completed graduation after a diploma can also apply if the diploma included Physics and Mathematics.
• Age Limit: 21 to 25 years as on 01 July 2026 (born between 01 Jul 2001 to 30 Jun 2005).
  (Age relaxation: 5 years for serving personnel of Coast Guard/Army/Navy/Air Force)

2. Assistant Commandant – Technical (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) [Male Only]

• Total Posts: 30
• Category-wise Distribution:
  SC – 3, ST – 4, OBC – 8, EWS – 2, UR – 13
• Educational Qualification: (i) For Technical (Mechanical):
  • Engineering degree in:
    Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial & Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, Aerospace
  • OR equivalent qualification recognized by Institute of Engineers (India) as exempted from section “A” and “B” of AMIE.
  (ii) For Technical (Electrical/Electronics):
  • Engineering degree in:
    Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, Power Engineering, Power Electronics
  • OR equivalent qualification recognized by Institute of Engineers (India) as exempted from section “A” and “B” of AMIE.
  • Must have studied Mathematics and Physics up to Class XII (10+2 level).
  • Graduation after diploma is acceptable if the diploma had Physics and Mathematics.
